Narrative Arts Club
proudly presents:

An evening of storytelling
with
Coilín Oh-Aissieux,
Ciarán McMahon,
Gerry MacGregor
and guests
(That's you!)

In the Library Bar Extension,
Central Hotel,
Exchequer Street
(just off South Great George's Street),
Dublin

Saturday 19 May
Show starts 9 pm.
Doors open 8.30.

Admission EUR 5.

We are delighted to welcome you to another evening of innovative storytelling.

We invite you to forget whatever storytelling was ...
We're here to find out what it might be.
This is eye-contact theatre for the noughties:
Freestyle storytelling for young Irish urbanites of the 21st century.

Coilín, Ciarán and Gerry will be delighted to perform from our repertoires,
and then we'd like to hear what our guests have to offer.

Bring a story from your own experience.
Bring a forgotten folktale,
a modern myth,
or an urban legend.
Bring your own retelling of your favourite movie.
Bring some other kind of story that we never thought of.

Be entertained.
Be perplexed.
Be moved.
Or bemused.

But be there!

Travelling Gun (repossessed by the Rah) - Coilín
Garuda (sighted off the coast of Bali) - Gerry MacGregor

Sux Races (the things we do for love) - Coilín
Over the Wall to the Trinity Ball - Richard Marsh

(BREAK)

Exuberance - Yvonne Young
Ripples (accident at the bottom of the North Sea) - Seán O'Donoghue

In the Land of the Dead (Yukaghir story) - Coilín

Please read Chad Buterbaugh's blog about the event - including beautiful photos - here:

(I don't necessarily agree with everything Chad writes.)

The organisers are planning another evening in about four weeks' time. Watch this space for news.

Best,
Coilín.
