Thierry Meyssan - Sat Apr 05, 2025 07:15
The upheaval we are witnessing with Trumpism affects the United States, its national relations, and the domestic political life of its allies. It may seem strange that European leaders would criticize the President of the United States for his policies at home, in violation of the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of a foreign country. However, while they do not suffer from his reforms at home, they endure the unspeakable consequences they provoke at home. These are only just beginning.

In 2005, the French and Dutch rejected the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe in referendums. But in 2007, the French and Dutch parliamentary assemblies adopted the same text, barely amended, under the name of the Lisbon Treaty. For the first time since the end of World War II, the French and Dutch ruling classes showed their sovereign contempt for their peoples. Nineteen years later, much water has passed under the bridge, but practices have hardened, notably during the (?)

Israel's Minister of Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli organized an international conference in Jerusalem on the fight against anti-Semitism. He invited president of the French National Rally Jordan Bardella and Marion Marechal, granddaughter of the founder of the National Front Jean-Marie Le Pen, but also Vox (Spain), the Sweden Democrats, Fidesz (Hungary), and the Party for Freedom (Netherlands). It seems that former Paraguayan president Horacio Cartes (2013-2018) was also present. Hence (?)

In connection with media speculation about the possible transfer of the Zaporozhskaya nuclear power plant to Ukraine or the establishment of some form of ?joint control? over the plant with Ukraine, the United States of America or representatives of international organizations, we should like to clarify the following. The Zaporozhskaya nuclear power plant is a Russian nuclear facility. As a result of the referendums held at the end of September 2022, the Donetsk People's Republic, the (?)

The possible withdrawal of the United States from its preeminent position in NATO, even if it does not withdraw from the Atlantic Alliance, sends the political West back to its own devices. How can peace be ensured on the continent? The European Defense project, developed by Fran?ois Mitterrand and Jacques Chirac, does not allow for the defense of the European space, but only provides the EU with the means to intervene in the event of a massacre abroad. The projects of Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer correspond to the needs of their countries, but in no way to those of the continent. However, time is running out as conflicts loom in northern Ukraine, Moldova, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

On March 15, Sir Keir Starmer hosted a virtual summit of 26 countries that could form a coalition in support of Ukraine. It seems that the UK Prime Minister's strategy is starting to take shape. ? (1) He called for ?maximum pressure? on Russia to ?weaken Putin's war machine.? ? (2) He is pressuring Russia to accept the ceasefire agreement presented by the United States. He criticizes Russia for using delaying tactics and calls on Moscow to demonstrate that it is serious about peace. ? (?)
