Jump To Comment: 1 2Maura is recommended for psychiatric evaluation because she puts people and lands before profit, dares to defy the Shell lackeys in the Dáil and Garda stations, and is respected by her community and colleagues. In Judge Devins' view, the problem is simply that we're nuts to oppose pollution and the hazard of environmental disaster on a unique and precious environment, with any profits going to Shell and their hirelings (checkout Garda overtime recently), and not to the people of Ireland.
