Thursday February 14, 2008 15:53 by Sarah Lundberg - The Seven Towers Agency sarah at seventowers dot ie 00353-87-2283351

Acoustic Rock from Singer/songwriter from Bray, Co Wicklow.
Kris will be Live at Pravda, Lower Liffey St, Dublin 1 at 8.30 Kris is originally from Fassaroe in Bray, Co Wicklow and is well known in that area as a musician, formerly under the name of Chisty. His debut CD is a celebration of Kris’ musical career to date and stepping stone to the greater success he will inevitably achieve.
"It is difficult in one way to describe Kris' type of music with full accuracy. It is, on the one hand, classic folk, playing as he does alone with his acoustic guitar and harmonica. However, it is also simultaneously modern and edgy. What I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, is that Kris is captivating. I have been in pubs where he has played and on hearing him sing an instant and spontaneous silence descended among the patrons and all eyes remained on Kris for the duration of his set, breaking only to clap and cheer."
Seven Towers MD, Sarah Lundberg
One song and you’re interested, the second you’re hooked. Kris Finnerty has a musical way with words.
Peter Grogan, Dublin City FM
“With launching this album, Kris Finnerty is throwing his hat into the ring with the ‘big boys’ . . . He will be called on to deliver and I don’t think he’ll be found wanting”.
Eamon Carr
“. . . features some lovely mellow acoustic based folky sounds, the album comes very beautifully packaged in a large format card sleeve with booklet and two foldout posters featuring sleevenotes and lyrics”.

Seven Towers:
Seven Towers is a creative arts agency that represents artists from any field or genre, focusing, in the main, on new artists. Once an artist impresses us sufficiently, we put all our effort into launching their career - providing fora for them to feature their talent and producing limited editions of their work. These limited editions will be available for sale and review as well as for consideration by companies at home and abroad. As Seven Towers clients’ work is more widely available, these limited editions will become increasingly precious. Seven Towers has, to date, published two novels by Oran Ryan, The Death of Finn and Ten Short Novels by Arthur Kruger and two collections of poetry, The Gentle Art of Rotting by Ross Hattaway and Scattering Day, 21 Sonnets and Other Poems by Noel Ó Briain.
