 In Aid of the Socialist Party & Socialist Youth On Saturday January 5th I, Cian Prendiville, will be going for a sponsored swim in the icy-fresh waters of Malahide beach, Dublin. Money raised goes to the Socialist Party and Socialist Youth campaign fund. A sponsorship card is attatched so you can print one off and ask others (friends, family, coworkers etc) to sponsor me too. Money does not have to be paid upfront, but it is welcome. On the website above, enter the amount in Euro, ignore the £ sign. Money is not transfered electronically, I will contact you later, personally, to arrange that. Howdy all!
Just to let ye know Cian successfully did the swim earlier today, and I was a witness to it. I took some pics of the event, but sadly my USB lead for my Digital camera is broke, so have to buy a new one before uploading the photo's. hope to be able to do that ASAP. It was a day that was cold beyond belief, and I wasn't sure if Cian was Brave or just plain mad to do what he did!!
Anyways according to the man himself, he raised €440 in the process, so many thanks to one and all who supported him, and get your money in ASAP!
