'Safeguarding' is becoming a big problem, and not just because it's being weaponised against conservatives, says Mary Gilleece. Children are being put at risk as criminal conduct is tolerated under 'safeguarding' rules.

INLA put claims of drugs to bed....

A Chairde,

“Despite the social nature of tonight’s event, we must allow some serious thought and reflection about the brave man, we have come here to commemorate tonight, Patrick “Paddy Bo” Campbell. Patrick’s young life was taken nine years ago whilst he was combating drug criminal elements here in Dublin. It was a dangerous position that he put himself into, but when asked, Patrick didn’t flinch. He showed a tenacity and selflessness that should inspire us all.

The media had a field day with his death, concocting half-truths and sensationalist headlines such as INLA criminal gangs clash in turf war. Let me make it absolutely clear to everyone, that such gutter press headlines were and are utter nonsense. Let me make it clear, Patrick Campbell was no criminal; we in the RSM are not criminals.

Let those in high places, those terrified of the politics we organize around be told, that it is them that are the criminals, not us. It is their greedy capitalistic policies that are feeding the crime and social cancers in our society, not us and our vision of a Socialist Republic. They are the sickness ….. We are the cure. They are the past and we are the future.

There are those parasite scumbags in Dublin purporting to be members of the INLA; needless to say they are not members of our movement. They use the tag of the INLA as a flag of convenience, to line there own pockets, but be perfectly clear, those same scumbags are not volunteers, and let them be forewarned, they will reap a harvest of retribution at a time and place of our choosing.

So lets raise a glass tonight for our fallen Comrade Patrick Campbell, and from tonight, lets show extra commitment to the socialist struggle and make ours and Patrick’s dreams of a better future, more of a reality.
