offsite link The Faux-Radicalism of Kneecap Wed Apr 30, 2025 19:00 | Andrew Doyle
Kneecap's vocal support for Hamas and call for fans to murder Tory MPs is obviously reprehensible. But it's just for show, says Andrew Doyle. The police shouldn't waste their time investigating rappers.

offsite link Pope Francis?s Liberalism is Not Why Young People Are Returning to Church Wed Apr 30, 2025 11:00 | Dr Roger Watson
As a Catholic, Prof Roger Watson is sure Francis was appointed Pope for a reason. It's just that he's damned if he can figure out what it was. Certainly, it's not his liberalism that's drawn young people back to church.

If you are getting the bus from town, get the 123 heading toward Marino. Get off near the corner of the North Circular Road and Summerhill. Go up the North Circular Road and its the first turn left.
If you're cycling, well just follow the map, you should be good at maps.
If you're going by car, please stop polluting the atmosphere.

Gosh, could you not have found a better street than that...its a slum down there, with junkies and criminals all over the place.

Could you not make a better effort?

I'm sorry if that seems snobbish but it so depressing down there. I was there once and it is really gloomy.

al was there ONCE!
You really ought to get out more often, al

I pass through there on my way to and from work, and I don't think it is any better or worse than any other area of Dublin, including any middle or upper class areas you could name. I have friends and work colleagues living in that area, and they are sound people.
