DCU Business School invites Irish entrepreneurs, SME’s and Start-Ups to the 3rd annual “Get Started” mini-conference on 20th March from 2pm – 6pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain advice, knowledge and experience from a range of successful Irish entrepreneurs including; Gavin Duffy, Dragons Den Panellist and Caroline Casey, Award Winning Social Entrepreneur, amongst many others. Dublin City University Invites Aspiring Entrepreneurs to Free Start-Up Event
DCU Business School invites Irish entrepreneurs, SME’s and Start-Ups to the 3rd annual “Get Started” mini-conference on 20th March from 2pm – 6pm, . Attendees will have the opportunity to gain advice, knowledge and experience from a range of successful Irish entrepreneurs including; Gavin Duffy, Dragons Den Panellist and Caroline Casey, Award Winning Social Entrepreneur, amongst many others.
A “Dotcom Survivors Panel” at the event will feature Charlie Ardagh, CEO at Trackalyse, Antoin O’Lachtnain, Managing Director at Digital Messenger and John Dennehy, CEO at Zartis. Aiming to inspire and encourage “Get Started” attendees, the panellists will discuss their past experience’s and success stories in the rapidly changing digital environment.
“Entrepreneurs and early stage businesses need inspiration but also practical advice,” said Dr. Theo Lynn, Director of Industry Engagement at DCU Business School. “Get Started is part of our ongoing efforts to open up DCU Business School to the wider community and join with our students and staff to learn from experienced business leaders.”
“Get Started” is designed to introduce those considering starting their own business as well as existing SME’s to the supports and tools available to help them grow.
The afternoon event is organised by Techspectations, an outreach project of DCU Business School and supported by North Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Allied Irish Bank.
The event is free of charge and open to the public, however as places are limited, we ask that you register early at www.techspectations.org to guarantee a place.
