In Germany the Left doesn't need to beat Right-wing parties, it can just ban them for supposedly being a bit too much like Hitler. Eugyppius is increasingly convinced the AfD will face a potential ban in the coming months.

RSF SELECT THREE CANDIDATES TO STAND

Republican Sinn Fein has selected three candidates to stand
for the local elections in Limerick city and county, a party
spokesman said today.

Joe Lynch from Beechgrove Avenue in Ballinacurra Weston,
the Munster Executive spokesman said that candidates
will stand in two wards in Limerick city and in the Newcastle
West Electoral area in County Limerick.

The three candidates are already well known in their own
areas through their work as community activists, he said

Well-known Broadford publican Seamus O’Suilleabhain
who is secretary of the Munster Executive will run for
Republican Sinn Fein in County Limerick.

He is a local historian and well known as a speaker at
Republican commemorations.

In Limerick City candidates will stand in the revised wards
in the north side and the south side.

Former trade union official Sean O’Neill will stand in the
revamped South Ward while former Limerick Corporation
employee Mick The Quill Ryan stands in Ward One in the
Ballynanty area of the city.

Both men are well known as active members of the community
and they have taken stands in the interests of their areas
over the past number of years.

Both men polled well on their first attempt and we are
confident that their vote will substantially increase and
they will be elected to Limerick City Council.

best of luck to all three candidates who are well known for their dedication to working class issues and to the Republican ideal. All progressive people in the county/city should rally behind them and send a strong message that the 'plain people' want a voice, and are sick of gombeenism and corruption.
