offsite link ?Positive? Discrimination is Putting Lives at Risk Mon Apr 28, 2025 13:00 | Daniel Fessahaye
There is no such thing as 'positive' discrimination. And when it creeps into life-or-death professions like policing or flying a plane, it stops being merely unjust. It becomes dangerous, says Daniel Fessahaye.

After decades of pushing the climate alarmist narrative that Arctic ice is melting fast, scientists have now claimed that the near 20-year stable Arctic sea ice is "unsurprising" and predicted by their models.

Disturbing Implications: Something in the Air

category international | environment | other press author Wednesday September 13, 2006 17:28author by Ibis Report this post to the editors

‘Siberia and today’s arctic regions of Canada will be the future breadbaskets of the world.’ I read this forecast in the sixties and immediately scoffed at the prediction. The guy who made these predictions is either nuts, a charlatan, or both, I thought. The regions referred to are renowned for their permafrost, and aside from some mosses, lichens and ‘summer’ grasses, there is no way those areas could yield a viable supply of food for “the world” – that was then!

The permafrost of Siberia (which together with Canada occupies most of the "frozen ground" on the planet) thaws every year - but it doesn't melt. Well.., that's how it used to be. It melted this summer & unless a series of very cold years come - it won't freeze again. Most of this ground is bog like . Imagine just after the last ice age, a long long time before any comprehensible human speech was heard or recorded in the area of county Offaly. It was utterly shite to live in. But then once the bog & peat thawed, it not only allowed gnats & mosquitos & forgotten other creatures a nice home - it released huge amounts of Methane & other greenhouse gases. This was great at the time being just what the county of Offaly people needed at the time. Because it warmed the atmosphere, not just locally but globally. That allowed not only the people of Ofally and the midlands in general to evolve engaging speech and conversation - it brought us to modern civilisation.

In the next half century a thawed Siberia will release an amount of greenhouse glasses equivalent to and double the amount we're worried about since we started worrying till this year.

(if you're not that worried - read something from people who are)

this is the latest on the methane bubbles-

this is the previous which announced the thaw of western siberia.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4141348.stm The main causes of global warming you need to know about whether you live in county Offally or any part of the Irish diasporia or cultural hinterland are:-

* planes
* cars
* motorbikes
* motors
* aeroplanes
* winged heavier than air vehicles.

I told you about subterranean fires & and global climate consequences here :- http://indymedia.ie/article/77779?&condense_comments=fa...62997 Or........we could stop worrying about it all & hope we can goto sunny siberia on holidays with Ryanair in the near future.

Lastly I hope the Cleaves lot over in Australia have not fallen into the new craze for hanging Stingray tails on their living room walls & bragging "it killed the most respected ozzie naturalist since Rolf but I got the fucker no bother".
