The planned direct inaction by GR according to the website will be a football match.

~GR is organising a protest at 1.30pm at the central bank on sept 13th that will be held in solidarity with the protests that will take place in mexico against the WTO trade summitt. The EU and USA will push their agenda of trade liberalisation-the removal of all barriers to the flow of capital and trade of goods..barriers include a public health service, transport system, education system, environmental laws, laws to protect workers and the list goes on...GR are organising a football match as a way of highlighting the inequalities that exist in the world and will then have some speakers and after that another action (if the numbers turn up).

It's interesting how the RCP-types and anarchists in the Bay Area (San Francisco) seem to be able to socialise with each other. Also in LA an RCP "drum circle" was reported to have shielded black-bloc @s that were being intimidated by the police during anti-war protests. Warms the cockles of the heart!

Just curious about the game of football

Are you going to, as it were, "reclaim the street" in front of the Central Bank for the game of football?

That's a fairly serious direct action for GR (no offence or anything), but it would be amazing if you did it.

There's not much space to play soccer in the pedestrian plaza at the bank itself so I'm only assuming the game is on the street..?

Any clarification from a GR person would be cool, thanks.
