Sex sells, says Lee Taylor, and that is something many brands, caught up in the joyless theatre of modern virtue-signalling, could well stand to relearn.

The Red Cross is paying for the families of hundreds of migrants granted asylum to relocate to Britain. Confronted about this by the Telegraph, Yvette Cooper blamed the Tories. Shock!

National Protest March, 15th April, Dublin

category dublin | environment | event notice author Friday April 11, 2014 00:20author by Environment - IWIG Report this post to the editors

National Day of Protest planned for 15th April, Dublin @ 11.00am Parnell Square - Dail Eireann. Groups representing Windfarms, Pylons and Substations all UNITED IN PROTEST

Lakelands Windfarm Information Group http://www.lwig.net/protest.htm
We are a group of residents from the greater Mullingar area who are concerned about the proposal to build a large scale windfarm overlooking the town.
Our Mission is to help and inform every member of our community about the development of this large scale industrial windfarm, in an open and honest way.

PRESS RELEASE

A Windfarm/Pylon/Substation Protest rally will take place in Dublin on the 15th of April, says Andrew Duncan spokesperson for the Lakelands Windfarm Information Group one of the organising groups.
The rally organised by concerned communities from all parts of island of Ireland is in response to the Governments Renewable Energy Policy which will transform and industrialise vast swathes of the country with Industrial Wind Turbines, Ancillary Pylons and Substations.
The level of concern nationally is clearly demonstrated by the 35,000 submissions to the pylon review and the over 7500 submissions into the process to establish new wind energy guidelines. In Westmeath alone recently over 6000 submissions were received by Westmeath County Council seeking adequate set back distances of at least 10 times overall height from homes to the nearest wind turbine
Windfarm/Pylon and Substation protestors will meet in Parnell Square on the 15th of April at 11 Am. Buses are leaving from dozens of venues throughout the country and a very large attendance is expected.
