[Cork] Monthly Palestine Street Awareness Campaign Commemorates Palestinian Land Day

category cork | rights, freedoms and repression | event notice author Thursday March 28, 2013 21:35author by IPSC - IPSC Report this post to the editors

The Monthly Palestine Street Awareness Campaign and march for Boycotting Israeli products is happening this coming Saturday 30th March, Daunt Square, Cork City at 1pm. The action takes place on Palestinian Land.
monthlycork.jpg

We need as many hands as possible to distribute our leaflets and to inform the public on the reasons why we are boycotting Israeli products. If you want to participate in the BDS Campaign join us this coming Saturday at 1pm.

If you find any Israeli products in any stores, please make a formal complaint to the shop on why they should not stock Israeli products.

On 30th March 1976 Israeli military forces shot and killed six young Palestinian citizens of Israel. These young men were among thousands protesting the Israeli government’s expropriation of Palestinian land.

Thirty-seven years after the first Land Day demonstrations, Israel continues its expropriation and colonization of Palestinian land. Israel continues to expand its illegal settlements in occupied Palestinian territory, forcing Palestinians from their land. Palestinians also face dispossession and displacement inside Israel.

Join us this Saturday to commemorate Land Day and celebrate Palestinian resistance to Israel’s ongoing land expropriation, colonization, occupation and apartheid.

If you care to read the article you quoted, it states that

"the PLO delegation, is effectively a puppet of the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah."

and gives examples of it's recent behaviour to back up that assertion.

The Israeli's fear the BDS movement because it represents a concrete way to put pressure on Israel.
They know how effective such measures were in bringing change to another apartheid state, South Africa.

Ignore wolfass and his zionist hasbara.

Boycott all Israeli goods. Divest yourself of stocks and shares in Israeli companies. Sanction apartheid Israel.

According to EI, the PLO have attacked the BDS movement as a waste of time. First Finkelstein, now the PLO .....whither you lads ? Little left but Hamas, eh ?
