Saw Doctors change their mind about the European Union The band the Saw Doctors has changed their minds about the European Union. The band initially welcomed the EU to Galway in a massive advertisement at the Moneenageisha Roundabout. However, several days later, either they’ve been adbusted, or else the band have had a major change of heart; the poster now reads “The Saw Doctors Condemns the EU in Galway”. If the latter, this is welcome news. It is now also hoped that Macnas, Galway’s famous street performers will follow suit by having a protest instead of their planned performance for the EU ministers. read full story / add a comment

The Brit government through its prison officer lackeys continue to punish the current UDA loyalist paramilitary leadership, and its members in prison for daring to boot out their appointed stooge Johnny Adair. To this effect North belfast UDA leader Andre Shoukri is in solitary confinement and 24 hour lock down, flanked by armed prison officers in riot gear and ski masks, in what is seen by loyalist s as an attempt to break Andre Shoukri and pay retribution to the current UDA leadership for their stance in expelling the brit government's teachers pet C company. read full story / add a comment

8% is the magical unemployment average in the 15 state €U. Of those states in the €urozone the average in 2003 was 8.5% in 2000 at the Spring €U Lisbon summit the €U set 2010 as the date for full employment in 25 states. I suggest that Lisbon was a "lie". And that for the benefit of us all, some very serious rethinking is done of future EU integration. And that the demands of workers and unemployed not be forgotten. read full story / add a comment
