Debate Globalisation Puts Profits Before People Thurs Nov 26th From 6 To 8pm
The motion for debate is: this house believes that globalisation puts profits before people.
Arguing for the motion will be Richard Boyd Barrett of the People Before Profit Alliance, Dr. Colin Coulter, Senior Lecturer in Sociology at NUI Maynooth, and Dr. Andy Storey of the School of Politics and International Relations at UCD. Andy is also chairperson of the peace and justice group Action from Ireland (Afri). Debate Globalisation Puts Profits Before People Thurs Nov 26th From 6 To 8pm
Please come along to the second debate of NCI’s Insight Debate Series, presented in partnership with The Irish Times and Newstalk 106-108fm. The debate takes place in the National College of Ireland on Thursday, November 26th from 6 to 8pm and is followed by a drinks reception.
The motion for debate is: this house believes that globalisation puts profits before people.

Karen Coleman, presenter of The Wide Angle on Newstalk 106-108 fm, will chair the debate.
