Satire on Mr Cowen & the EU'S democracy":

Vote again on October second
the Lisbon treaty is sacrosanct
this is democracy that's beckoned
Politicians like not being outflanked

No matter we voted no & rejected
for democrats know what's best
their vision is like a beam projected
to light and guide our 'IQ' test

Language they abuse as tricksters
cattle herding words daily:
'Reform treaty' they lobby like pranksters
a 5% change offered gaily

For Europe, Jobs and Economy,
the CONacre of their private sector
but how will Ireland better be
if democracy's a fading spectre?

For Europe, Economy and Jobs,
heard I for Amsterdam and Maastricht,
the Puppet Masters and their mobs
always same balloons have pricked!

They listen not but talk down
as Masters to their Serfs
at them their Brussels bosses frown
like Big Fish towering o'er dwarfs!

To talk about the Treaty's contents
is not one of their 'Goodies',
but 'bout guarantees, ENTENTES, intents,
as if solid products for sale at Woodies

See the last drop of Nationhood
in the din and gin of Centralism,
the patriots' and martyrs' crimson blood,
the high rise of EU MILITARISM?

Who was it the banks dolled out,
the poor and weak assail like autocrats?
The Staus Quo - quislings - have sold out

Was pointed to this a few days ago by my teenage son Rob.
Great video and lyrics, hopefully it gets some air play, great to see young people like yourself using the talents you have to inform your generation.

A lot of teenagers have downloaded it to ipods etc., which will help them to overcome the wall to wall yes stuff.

yeah its been on near fm during a political broadcast, also the video was played at a co-op meet on sunday
i've had a few other dj's in touch wit me willing to play it so i've sent them all copies, also a couple of irish music stations in the states.. i've also sent it to all my contacts in the bigger radio stations around dublin, fm104 spin etc but im not expecting much from them..
if anyone knows any stations preferably outside dublin feel free to pass it on or pass me on the name and i will make sure they get a copy.
