Is the end of 'non-crime hate incidents' in sight? The Opposition is tabling an amendment to scrap them. This is something we all need to get behind ? so please use the FSU's template to tell your MP to vote for it.

Why would the police etc. be shocked? This sort of thing is an old tradition in central Europe every May Day. The apprentices would have a day to take it out on their bosses. Sometimes more in one place, or more or less in one year.
Of course they do.
That was the title of this week's home news feature published on April 30th on the Swissinfo portal.
As they told readers in many languages about a 1,500 tradition of young people coming together in a public assembly and talking. Obviously the art of talking and use of words like almost all other arts has taken a beating and seen its finest show displays looted. But still - it's a nice story even if no-one sings the same way. How many can mend a sonnet or saddle a horse? Ah! But has been pointed out many times, we do not need the few left who can do such things in power. The second largest Swiss bank is facing legal challenges for compensation to Malaysian farmers. The suit was served in Zurich this morning by young people oddly enough.

On Chrisy Moores box set he plays a fine angry song "Theres anarchy on the streets of gold.... in Zurich", its a song by the Seattle folk singer songwriter Jim Page who lived and played for a while in Ireland, hes also responsible for the song "Didn´t we", which tells the true tale of the shutting down of the WTO in Jims hometown of Seattle, in Nov 30th '99.
Christy refers to Jim on his blog:
