Bush Iraq and Iran

Bush speaking yesterday

Listened very carefully and watched the real time video on Bush's Press Conference outside the White House yesterday. On Iraq, for the first time, he admitted that there is a threat of a civil war "I hear a lot of talk about civil war...I am concerned about that!" he said. What he didn't specify was whether he was concerned that there was talk or because so many people are being and will be killed. His comments echoed similar statements made by a number of US commanders earlier last week - for them to be able to speak out on the "serious threat of civil war in Iraq", they must have been given permission to do so by the White House.
But what is even more interesting, if unbelievable, are a number of comments by Ned Walker, former US ambassador to Israel and Egypt, who's quoted by Sue Fleming of the Irish Times today as follows: "If we are going to go into Iran, then you need to have the ability to pull back from Iraq"!!!!!

I would welcome comments on the above - we need to seriously prepare ourselves on what the Empire may be planning on Iran.
