There is no such thing as 'positive' discrimination. And when it creeps into life-or-death professions like policing or flying a plane, it stops being merely unjust. It becomes dangerous, says Daniel Fessahaye.

Opus Dei's Requiem for Tara and Celtic Ireland

category meath | history and heritage | press release author Saturday June 03, 2006 03:06author by Con Connor - Ireland's Druidschool Report this post to the editors

Their emperors suit is see thru.....

On Saturday, the 13th of May 2006, the day of the Full Moon of Beltine, the Opus Dei Lismullin Institute charged E50 to hear an all day talk about Opus Dei's plans for our Celtic Heritage. Opus Dei's Lismullin Institute in the high valley of the Royal City of Celtic Tara (supported by the state funded Heritage Council) managed to keep everyone silent about the 'problem'. No one was allowed to mention the 'M' word (M3 dual toll road motorway) as there was a dictate (in their promotion) that - "The cut off at 2000 AD is chosen to exclude discussion of the proposed route of the M3 Motorway and to leave more time for learning about the history and traditions associated with the Valley". Those who force this toll road have an agenda that restricts free speech.

Don’t talk about the Motorway
The 'problem' was not the Opus Dei desired focus for the all day conference. Their declared purpose (from their brochure) - "is to inform the wider public of the national importance of the valley in the evolution of the cultural and physical landscape of the area and to provide them with an opportunity to visit it". The focus they forced by their design was a "goodbye to the Gabhra" because they insisted that every one speaks of the Gabhra as if its already gone / deceased for six years. RIP to the little stream / river and its beautiful valley and then everyone was so sad... but not completely, there was a Celtic Druid inside the conference watching and hearing with different eyes and ears and he could see and feel the truth of what was going on.

Conference Report
At the conference - everyone subscribed to the newspeak as requested by the Opus Dei lady who gave the introduction - she said - "they have asked us not to speak about the Motorway". Nobody asked at the introduction "who is it that restricts my freedom of speech?" - nobody even made even a basic polite inquiry about the level of punishment if the dictate was breeched. Every presenter complied and a shadow of sadness at the loss of Tara descended on the assembled and their professors. This speech choking worked until the end of the day when the "problem" reared its ugly head a little but by that time the day was done.

Requiem for Tara
The Opus Dei inspired Requiem for Tara illusion can be seen to have worked by their overlords. They got some of Ireland's leading academics to restrain their professing, observing the dictate placed by an unknown without a single objection being raised. The general public also fell under the restriction as the professionals cast the dark blanket of limited expression as a spell over the multitude. The Heritage Council supported this conference with public money. Opus Dei has made no objections to the proposed M3 double troll road, no attempt to actually do something positive to preserve and protect the "national importance of the valley in the evolution of the cultural and physical landscape of the area" that they want to only talk about. But they are very happy to host the Wake.
