there is a long list of people who have causing mayhem and trouble in Dublin for a long time and we'd like them to leave.
Perhaps they could seek asylum in a South American country, I believe Uribe still controls Colombia for the moment.
Bylorussia is a good bet as well, offered the Hussein brothers asylum.
Zimbabwe, could be welcoming you never know.
Saudi (soon to be a republic) under it's present kingdom loves putting up the monsters and bloodthirsty and confirmed canibals. Probably too bad for the filth of Dublin though.
Horses for Courses and all that.

So if there is no Mayhem, are the anarchists going to be discredited?
And if the soldiers fire, is the government going to come under serious criticism?
And is Bertie going to go gracefully or is he going to be pushed?

The Irish people will not put up with people coming over to Dublin and causing trouble. If you come to Dublin you will be met by fource ie: 2.500+ Garda. Any of you that get hurt will deserve it.

Interesting how even these articles about protestors cause mahem, chaos, genoa in Dublin etc etc - its always copiously illustrated withcops kicking the shit out of people
not too surprising - this being , generally speaking, 95-99% of the violence at any of these events pronbaly hard to get footage of anything else !

YES that was the point - thus the title - Mayday propaganda
It was a piss take a bit of fun, propaganda can work both ways. It was meant to show how silly (and frightening) the whole thing is. Iam sure most indymedia viewers are smart enough to see what’s going on. Using the media to create fear as justification for violence, that’s what I said in the video. As for attracting "extreme elements" of what ever the cops are calling peace protesters or environmental activists, I think the corporate media has already done a good job of that.
The only thing this video advertises is peaceful protests like critical mass and RTS.

Note * not one stone let alone one petrel bomb has ever been thrown at a (anti-War Globalisation) protest in Ireland - It is not the Irish protesters who are arming themselves to the teeth and training for violence is it? Lets look at the facts and look behind the propaganda lie machine
Any violence on mayday if there is any will likely come from the state against the protesters, the government is running scared, every day now they make another announcement escalating and militarising the situation.

As for the video tong in cheek ;)

it has clips of vids of the gardai training for petrol bombs now that ott

(by the way where ya get that never seen it before ,does nobody have any more info on their training and the consultants or foreign police doing it...?)

Sadly this video is just as sensationalistic as the Herald or the Indo - what's the difference? The implication is the same: 'CHAOS ON THE STREETS OF DUBLIN (party on dude!)'

Couldn't someone make a video about peaceful protest and people exercising their legal rights? Which is much more likely to happen anyway and why is this video trying to attract a 'militant' element to come to Ireland?

The picture is from the Sunday Indo (I think) around the time of the December Shannon demonstration. I seem to remember seeing it on the bus back and having a laugh at it. Since then of course the SWP decided to organise as 'Another Europe is Possible; under Rory rather than as 'Gloablise Resistance' under Joe so GR has vanished for now.
