The new EAT-Lancet Planetary Health Diet is a meat-slashing, plant-pushing plan for elite policy makers, not the average Joe, says the Daily Sceptic's Environment Editor.

Humza Yousuf or Anas Sarwar ? who can tell? Either way, Scotland?s Pakistani MPs seem to read from the same playbook: identity first, party second, says Steven Tucker.

Picket to highlight Prison Conditions

category national | miscellaneous | opinion/analysis author Friday July 04, 2003 12:35author by Ailín Report this post to the editors

Republican Sinn Féin are holding a picket tomorrow, Saturday July 5th, at the GPO in Dublin to highlight the ongoing situation that Republican prisoners face in Maghaberry, Magilligan and Portlaoise jails.

It starts at 12.45pm and will finish at 1.45pm As can be seen from last weeks events, the prison situation is critical and it is only a matter of time before it erupts into violence. Prisoners have already undertaken Hunger Strikes in protest at the conditions they are forced to live in and will do so again if their demands are not addressed. If anyone is in town tomorrow they should come over and show their support even if for only a few of minutes.

Well, if you guys weren't involved in murdering people, you wouldn't have your mates in jail. I've no sympathy for the terrorist scum that you support. Smaller jail-cells, less walkabout time, longer sentences please.
