ALL EVENTS ARE VIDEO AND SOUND RECORDED, as part of the CULTURAL
ARCHIVE policy and participants agree to for their image to appear in
SHE-D's archives and publications. Soon some of the outlets of the
four years activity, from the three experienced spaces, will be
available, together with the new website. You will be able to enjoy
then the past experiences, even if you missed them. Participants and
artists agree to leave a copy of each sound/photo/video recorded
material produced by them for the same scope.
INFO:
BREIZHEIRE
BreizhEire is the Breton society of Ireland for Bretons and Brittany lovers throughout Ireland.
We gather around cultural or linguistic activities, in order to stimulate the bonds at any level between our two Celtic countries. We organise different events and regular activities trough the year all over Ireland (traditional music & dance, Breton language, outdoors events). BreizhEire has four branches so far, Dublin, Galway, Cork and Belfast; others are burgeoning.

SHE-D's news
SHE-D is an intercultural, creative resource in Dublin City Centre.
Based in the community, SHE-D offers an alternative creative space in
response to the changing environment.
Given the interest of new members we are creating activities and attract viable options to support the future of the centre.
After years of arguments, finally the Valutation office took off the SHE-D building from the Valuation List, qualifying it as Community Hall, and this is a first step towards understanding of our valuable efforts. We still have to become sustainable though.
SHE-D has been rooted in the Inner City for the past five years and has worked as a pilot project for many other groups who have since evolved from it.
SHE-D still offers a different point of view on the arts and the local community.
We need to support SHE-D in this difficult period so that it can finally take root and become an
established centre for the sake of the local, artistic and cultural community.
The small core of members interested in the SHE-D are also at risk and having to invest personally, facing unsolved problems without the much needed community support, and left in a very dangerous position.
I ask you to contact SHE-D and lend your support in whatever way you can. You may consider joining the collective, becoming involved in one of our many projects ie:
* Vegetarian Canteen programme
* Ecology Discussion Group
* Film Club
* Film/maker editing project
* Performance ensemble
* Visual artists working group
* Darkroom
Your involvement will be rewarded in promoting and developing this vibrant inter-cultural, creative and innovative centre. We are currently looking for new ideas and offer space and the potential to
facilitate new projects. Beside the ones already working within the space.
Please let me know if you are interested in visiting SHE-D.
Our weekly meetings take place on Mondays at 6.00pm.
All new members are welcome and it is a great opportunity to get an idea of what SHE-D can offer.
I would be grateful if you could circulate this message to any interested parties.
Love
