Why do we fail to deport those whom we should deport? It's due in the end, says Dr David McGrogan, to an excess of pity. We are pitying ourselves into disorder and social decay. We need to be willing not to be nice.

Reform is favourite to win the Runcorn and Helsby by-election, overturning Labour's 14,700 majority. Why? It might have something to do with having the nation's third-highest number of asylum seekers, says Steven Tucker.

Want to ask a question? Pick up some leaflets? Chat with like-minded individuals? Then join us on Saturday!

Hi,

On Sat. 4th December, we'll be doing an animal rights information table, from 12noon - 3pm, on Westmoreland Street (College Green, Dublin 2 - at the railings beside the Bank of Ireland).

Tabling is a great to spread awareness on a number of issues at the one time, so we hope you'll join us!

See you then,

National Animal Rights Association

Bleeding hell bb you're a right pain in the circumpolar region with all your politically correct inverted commas .
I heard the financial meltdown has been cancelled due to the cold weather by the way .

if they had a time machine and were trying to win over "eskimos" from the 19th century? Or from a child's storybook or something?

I suppose given the nature of the protest the organisers could hardly ask people to turn up wearing fur coats to keep themselves warm . It makes me wonder what the animal lib crowd would do if they were trying to win eskimos to the cause . No whale blubber for Christmas dinner this year , no fur coats , no fishing through holes in the ice . Sitting around in their igloos all day with nothing to do ,walking huskies around on a piece of string , trying to plant mung beans in the frozen tundra .
What about santa and his cruel exploitation of reindeers every year , someone should do something about that surely . Stick a picket on the north pole or something.

The above event is cancelled due to the extreme weather conditions. No further events will be planned until it is safe to travel again.

Apologies for the short notice.
