REPUBLICAN NETWORK for UNITY (RNU) Ard Chomhairle member, CARL REILLY has slammed an intensification of recent sectarian attacks in the County Antrim village as abhorrent.

REPUBLICAN NETWORK for UNITY (RNU) Ard Chomhairle member, CARL REILLY has slammed an intensification of recent sectarian attacks in the County Antrim village as abhorrent.

Mr. Reilly said; ‘As Republicans and Socialists, we oppose sectarianism in whatever way it is manifested. In spite of growing inequalities within society, sectarianism only serves to undermine Irish Republicanism. As such, we call upon those involved in these repugnant activities to immediately desist.

RNU also ask Church, Community, Political Leaders and Trade Unions to use their influence and demand that residents in Rasharkin and beyond have the right to live free from sectarian attacks’.
