Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) www.seashepehrd.org is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organisation. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species
Shepherd is a growing international organisation with a large network of volunteers. Ireland is joining that network and we will be holding our first day to train volunteers, on Saturday 24th July 2010 in the Richmond Room, Carmichael Centre, North Brunswick Street, Dublin 7 (directions www.carmichaelcentre.ie) . start at 1.00 sharp and finish around 4ish.
