Maura Harrington arrested - emergency protest Mountjoy 19.30 this evening

Maura Harrington, a local Shell to Sea campiagner has been arrested on her way home from a funeral in Mayo and is being brought to prison for refusing to pay fines relating to 'offences' while protesting against Shell's experimental raw gas pipeline and inland refinery.

Dublin Shell to Sea will be holding a protest this evening at 19:30 at Mountjoy women's prison (right bside mens prison, across the road from Mater Hospital).

She is due to arrive at the prison between 19:30 - 20:30

So come along, bring friends and make plenty of noise to show Maura your support and solidarity
