This course is aimed at people with an interest in global development issues who want to find out ways that they can take action for a fair and equitable world from Ireland. This includes, but is not limited to, those who have lived or volunteered overseas and want to:
- Explore that experience and how to use it as a springboard for continuing their involvement in working for a better world;
- Continue to support those they have met and worked with while overseas;
- Consider how to make lifestyle choices based on their principles and values;
- Learn about development work happening in Ireland;
- Network and share experiences with others.
Two days of practical and participatory workshops aim to provide you with the skills to:
- Identify your knowledge about and opinion on development issues,
- Write about and present your overseas experiences or knowledge to a variety of audiences;
- Use images and create videos;
- Influence the media;
- Get involved in campaigns and solidarity work

Cost: €70 for Comhlámh members, €105 for non-members, €40 for student/unemployed/part time worker, €5 for asylum seekers. Lunch included.
