'dont make your body a graveyard' go vegan instead

The 4th annual World GO VEGAN Week is taking place this year from October 25 through 31. This week is a celebration of compassion and a time to take action for animals, the environment and everyone’s well-being. We encourage people to use this week to use this week to educate their community about the vegan lifestyle as a compassionate, sustainable, and healthy way of eating and living. Promoting veganism through outreach events and the media, we know that our annual World GO VEGAN Week is helping make the word "vegan" a household word, universally recognized as meaning love and compassion for all living beings.

World GO VEGAN Week is also about celebrating what it means to be vegan. Veganism enables people to live in balance with all of Earth's creatures and promote freedom from exploitation for animals as part of their everyday lives. Modern animal agriculture is cruel and violent toward the chickens, cows, pigs and other creatures used to make meat, milk and eggs.
During World GO VEGAN Week, we encourage people to become conscious of what - and who - they are eating, the effect it has on the world, and that a non-violent alternative exists.
We urge people to recognize the effects their actions have on the world, and our ability to actually avert some impending disasters such as global warming.
PLEASE COME AND HELP AT THE VEGAN INFORMATION TABLE IN DUBLIN AT
COLLEGE GREEN ON SATURDAY 31st October 2009- FROM 12noon to 4pm.

The National Animal Rights Association have already planned a vegan stall (and food give away) for the same day, same place, and same time (check: http://www.worldgoveganweek.com/ for details) - the more the merrier!

Any scientist worth his salt knows that a single case proves nothing. However scientific evidence does seem to show that longevity is mostly to do with genetic factors. Look forward to a long life yourself!!. However you might have a better QUALITY of life (and perhaps a clearer conscience, assuming you have one) during that period by following a healthy vegan diet. Also, your contribution to CO2 in the atmosphere over that long life will be less.

do you believe whales have the same level of awareness as humans pete?
If so, how can you justify killing them and why do we not give them rights?.
If not then you are not comparing like with like are you?

why are you trying to needlessly bait vegans? Are you just trying to assuage your own guilty conscience by attempting to make vegans look silly? If you don't care about animals then fine stop trying destructively to get a rise out of people and go away and eat your meat, and leave those of us with a little more empathy for living creatures to advocate a kinder less speciesist approach to the right to life

"Do you believe whales have the same level of awareness as humans pete?"

I sure do.

A Killer Whale's brain, with frontal lobes, is several times bigger than the human brain.

We are too thick and stupid to communicate withe the largestet known brains in the universe.

The brains of whales.
