Last week the BBC reported that three men on trial for possesion of an armoured piercing mortor has been under observation by British special forces
In the report in question the BBC mentioned that in the trial it came to light that one of the men had been observed for approximately 6 months by brit special forces. The same brti army unit was observing the men on the day they were arrested.
The brit army unit contacted the colonial police now called the PSNI to arrest the men as they travelled a particular road.
This highlights the fact that despite the british devolution of powers to the puppet politicians in the 6 counties the military are still very much active in targeting Republican's.
In Dungannon a short few days ago, brit special forces were observed by the family of a Republican who then gave chase as they made there get awy in an unmarked vehicle (check the report below on website linked)
Anyone with a shed of Republicanism in them within the Nationalist Provisional SF party must, if they have any dignity withdraw from the Stormont assembly.
Those who are concerned with fighting for human rights in Iraq and various other places accross the globe must now get involved with the cause of human rights here in Ireland.
In the words of James Connolly (Irish Republican, killed by british forces in 1916) declared "The British Government has no right in Ireland, never had any right in Ireland and never can have any right in Ireland".
The fight for justice and basic human dignity is here. The new British arrangement to rule the 6 counties and maintain the partition of our country does not negate our right as a people to live free of British interference

Well, We're supposed to believe such weapons are the best way to bring peace and democracy in afghanistan and iraq aren't we?. If we swallow that one, then why not knock yourself out and believe they might help here too? And while you are at it, I'm sure the special forces will be equally about as helpful as a bunch of live mortars in bringing peace and democracy here too just as they have tried to in Iraq, afghanistan and even in Iran too.
In fact Bullets and mortars do nothing. They don't actually kill anyone. They are just objects with potential. People kill people. And the special forces are trained better for that particular job than anyone. In that sense given a choice, ( albeit not a great one ), I'd rather have a few misguided patriotic amateurs who can probably only afford one mortar running around in my country than a bunch of hardened trained professional killers with whatever state of the art weaponry her majesty can afford
In response to "Northerner" - is that Malin Head in Donegal - the most northern part of our country?
The partition of our country is a crime against human rights because it was meant to and does sustain division and conflict in our small country.
The divisons carefully fostered by a British Government and now sustained by a British assembly.
The stats speak for themselves, in research it is shown that sectarianism has increased within the statelet since the 1990's - since apparently the conflict was resolved!
The right of people to resort to arms to challenge the injustices around them is completely morally acceptable.
The weapons of the oppressed cannot be compared to the oppressor - there is no moral equivalence.
Peace cannot be brought to this country by British pacification arrangements - likewise no peace can be brought to Palestine through Israeli/EU/US imposed arrangments.
True peace is only achieveable through the acheivement of justice - which is the recognition that British involvement in any part of our country is the cause of conflict. The present arrangements in the 6 counties have absolved the British Government and attempted to create the illusion that it is a religious conflict best resolved by Catholic and Protestant politicians administering British rule.
Unfortunately, if the use of armed insurrection is the only means to bring about the circumstance to resolve this injustice and denial of human rights then so be it.
