7 Shell to Sea people imprisoned

Dublin Shell to Sea protest tonight at 10pm outside Mountjoy Women's Prison.

7 Shell to Sea people were today refused bail, depite the fact that all of them had no previous convictions and they are all being charged with minor public order offences

Come at 10pm tonight to show your solidarity with those who have been imprisoned. Four of the Shell to Sea protestors are women being brought to Mountjoy Women's Prison (Dochas Centre). They are currently on route.

The other 3 are men who are being held in Castlereigh Prison.

This is ludicrous. A Judge has refused them bail despiute the fact that they are all being charged with minor public offences. This shows the prejudice of the judge against Shell to Sea protestors.

none of those imprisoned have been convicted of any crime and are being refused bail while awaiting their trials.

Come along tonight to show solidarity. Bring friends!!
