HELP US CLOSE IRELAND'S FUR FARMS!

Hi,

Saturday 4th July will be the official launch of our "Fur Farm Exposé Tour". Every Saturday in July, we'll be traveling to the fur farming counties in Ireland, setting up information tables, doing leaflet drops, and protesting outside the actual fur farms.

We'll be kick-starting the tour in Co. Laois, home to Ireland's largest fur farm, where we protest every year.

We won't be hiring mini-buses for these events, and are relying on activist's own cars for transport, so please get back to me as soon as possible to reserve a seat! Also, if you'd be willing to offer additional transport for the day, please get in touch.

The plan for the day:

Meet at: 10.30am sharp, Sat. 4th July, outside the Hugh Lane Art Gallery (Parnell Square, Dublin 1) for pick-up.

We'll be travelling to Portlaoise, Co. Laois, where we'll spend 2 - 3 hours doing a fur farm information table and also leafleting the town.

Then, we'll be heading to Stradbally, Co. Laois for a big, noisy protest outside Vasa Ltd. Fur Farm. This is Ireland's largest fur farm - they kill over 45,000 mink every year there.

We'll be finishing the protest by around 5pm or so, and should be back in Dublin by about 7pm.

Please remember to get back to me as soon as possible if you want to come!

Thanks,

Laura Broxson
