Boycott Procter & Gamble Day Event and Foie Gras Protest

category dublin | animal rights | event notice author Sunday May 10, 2009 13:07author by Laura Broxson - National Animal Rights Associationauthor email naracampaigns at gmail dot comauthor address PO Box 11019, Dublin 2 Report this post to the editors

BOYCOTT P&G!!!!!!!

Hi,

As part of a global day of action, organised by 'Uncaged', to expose Procter & Gamble's secret animal-testing policy, we are having an information display in town. P&G is the world's largest consumer goods corporation, which is why we need to make people aware of exactly what they are funding when they purchase any P&G-owned brands, whilst also advising them of what ethical products they should be buying instead. For more information on P&G Day, check out: http://www.uncaged.co.uk/pgday.htm

Here's the plan for the day:

WHEN: 12noon - 3pm, Sat. 16th May

WHERE: Westmoreland Street / College Green, Dublin 2 (at the railings beside the Bank of Ireland).

Then that evening, we'll be having a foie gras protest:

WHEN: 6pm - 7pm

WHERE: Fallon & Byrne (11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2)

Hope we'll see you then!

The Government will say stop it, P&G will pull out of Ireland.

Bit like we better let a terrorist country (US) land warplanes in a so called neutral country on their way to search for WMDs that never existed in Iraq or we might lose jobs from US companies.

Well the planes came and went, now Government ministers tell that to the ex-workers from Hell (Dell).

Roll on the P&G protest, why should animals suffer for some vain 2 legged cow.

Senator Paschal Donohue, Fine Gael candidate in Dublin Central was a senior director for Proctor & Gamble. Remember this if he visits your house.
