Earth Hour was conceived in Australia in 2007, when 2 million Sydney residents turned off their non essential electricity as a way of raising awareness about Climate Change.

Earth Hour was widely adopted in Ireland last year, and this year it takes place Saturday 28th March @ 8.30PM.

Anything which raises awareness of the Earth and our role in her (and our) protection is valuable, even this tokenistic event.

So..turn off the lights and the vile shit on the TV..light a few candles..and enter the universal...
