4th March 2009 meeting against 60 years of N.A.T.O.

On the 4th March 2009 there is a public meeting to help organise Irish participation in European-wide events against 60 years of N.A.T.O., taking place in Strasbourg on the 1st to the 5th of April to coincide with the summit meeting of N.A.T.O. Heads of State and Government in Strasbourg, France / Kehl, Germany on 3-4 April 2009.

Several hundred people from 19 countries met for the activist conference at Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg, on February 14 and 15 2009, invited by the International Coordinating Committee 'No to war-No to NATO' and hosted by the 'Collectif de Strasbourg anti-OTAN' against NATO, to prepare the activities of the counter-summit on NATO’s 60th anniversary which will be held in Strasbourg in April 1-5

This meeting is to help organise the Irish participation in these events.

There will be a series of events held in and around Strasbourg to counter the N.A.T.O. conference in April. Irish citizens will be an integral part of this, helping to organise talks and take part in the counter events. Join us in opposing the war-mongers and profiteers.

60 years are more than enough!

A public meeting is set for:
Wednesday March 4th,
19.30 hours,
Teachers Club,
