The IPSC is proud to host Prof. As’ad Abdul Rahman an Executive Member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO). Prof. Rahman is also Minister for Palestinian Expatriates and Diaspora in the State of Palestine and Chairman of the Palestine International Institute (http://www.paldiaspora.org/).

Prof. Rahman's talk will begin at 6pm at he will speak about the latest political developments in Palestine in the aftermath of the onslaught on Gaza and the recent Israeli elections.

This will be followed, at 7.30pm, by a screening of the film Jerusalem: East Side Story (dir. Mohammad Alatar), which looks at the situation of Palestinians living in Occupied East Jerusalem. The film will be introduced by Freda Hughes of the IPSC. (run time 57mins approx).
