They say ‘nostalgia ain’t what it used to be’. Prove ’em wrong and make a night of it!
Comhlamh is organising a party for everyone who remembers APSO.
A reunion at the Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin
Thursday April 9, 2009, 8 p.m. - 12 midnight
Comhlámh is organising a party for everyone who remembers APSO. It’s open to all Comhlámh members, but particularly to any and every returned development worker whose work abroad and whose training were sponsored or co-sponsored by APSO. It’s also for those who were APSO staffers and Board members, and for the colleagues from DFA/Ireland Aid and from all the various sending-bodies who were the Agency’s partners. The idea was Bill Jackson’s, 35 years on from APSO’s and Comhlámh’s beginnings- it’s the 70th birthday present he most wanted!
For a donation at the door, there will be great world music, a chance to dance, a paying bar- and you’ll get to meet loads of friends from way back!
So, do three things:
Put the date in your diary
Let us know if you’re coming by e-mailing apso@comhlamh.org
Get your friends to do the same or give their name and address for Comhlámh to contact
