When I knew Jim, he was a dedicated republican working with provisional sinn fein. He was regarded as a quiet, inoffensive individual that attended meetings and appeared to be Rose Dugdales driver. Jim's arrest in Colombia surprised many. Republicans executed drug dealers, they did not want their life stories published. Provisional sinn fein have gone down many wrong roads, stormont and columbia to name two and good people like Jim have blindly followed them.
