Sligo vigil in solidarity with the people of Gaza

A demonstration in solidarity with the people of Gaza will take place in O'Connell Street, Sligo at 3:00 pm on Saturday 3rd January. The death toll now stands at over 400 people with over 2000 injured and the entire population terrorised and traumatised.

The Israeli bombardment of the defenceless civilians, trapped in the world's most densely populated and impoverished strip of land continues unabated. Civil society needs to send a message to our political leaders at home and in Europe that we will not tolerate the continued appeasement of Israeli crimes against humanity or the maintenance of diplomatic and economic relations with the rogue Israeli state while it continues to murder, maim and brutalise.
