Informal talk on Palestine with George Rishmawi
At 7.30pm on Monday 6th October, George S. Rishmawi, Director of the Siraj Center for Holy Land Studies in Bethlehem will give an informal talk in the Teachers Club on Parnell Square in Dublin. He has been in Ireland speaking at an interfaith conference in Galway on non-violent resistance to the occupation.
He will talk about the situation in Palestine today and the work of the Siraj Center. George is also a founder member of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) and organises the Peace Cycle, olive picking and alternative tourism trips to Palestine. Those interested in visiting Palestine are especially welcome.
