The Athenry Environmental Network wants to promote better environmental education in all communities around Ireland. It was established 2 years ago and runs 2 workshop weekend per year in Athenry but everyone is invited weather you live in Athenry or beyond.
Athenry Environmental Network Autumn Weekend FREE WORKSHOPS September 20 / 21st 2008
You are all invited to the Athenry Environmental Network's Autumn Weekend of free workshops in The Athenry Community Hall on Clarke Street in Athenry (near the Credit Union) on Saturday September 20th and Sunday September 21th from 10am to 3 pm..
Events kick off at 10am on Saturday and there will be workshops on Eco Building, Sewage tanks and water pollution and much more to follow on Sunday.
The Network also tries to carry out a project for Athenry and this weeknd we will be planting bulbs in and around Athenry in public areas, schools etc. and everyone is invited to help.
We are doing this in conjunction with European Mobility Week in association with Galway County Council
