Two important events on in Galway.
With Maura Harrington now on the fifth day of Hunger Strike, there was never a better time to get more informed on the struggle of this North West Mayo community.
Today Saturday Sept 13th from about 2 o'clock onwards there will be an information table on the Shell to Sea campaign outside Lynch's Castle on Shop St. in Galway city.
Also on this coming Tues Sept 16th at 6pm a launch of the book "Price of Our Souls" will take place in Nuns Island arts centre also known as the studio. Michael Mc Caughan the author will be speaking and it should prove as a great opportunity for asking questions or just general discussion on the campaign. This book is a very comprehensive read and does much to clarify what the campaign is all about, going into the background of the struggle as well as drawing on interesting international parallels.
Please come along and bring others and learn more about this campaign.
Your presence at either event will be very welcomed.
If there was ever a time to get more informed on the Shell to Sea campaign, now is it!
