category dublin | arts and media | event notice author Saturday July 12, 2008 01:02author by seedot - dctv

As part of the launch of Dublin Community Television you can come down to the New theatre and speak your 15 seconds of sense. DCTV is going to set up a chair and a camera and a microphone and some lights on the stage of the theatre at the back of Conolly books. You are invited to come up, have a look and have your spake.

In 15 seconds, tell us what TV should be like.

DCTV broadcasts programmes made and proposed by its members - you can make and propose and watch others making television in the New Theatre East Essex street from 3pm to 6pm on Wednesday 16th July.

The following day this material will be cut into 15 seconds "Words from Our members" where they will be played instead of advertising messages on the DCTV schedule by the end of the week.

What other things are on DCTV?

Here's a promo video: its shows a lot of what people have made already.

If you go down, tell us hear what you reckon - we'll come back and get feedback and give our view how it went.

dunno if the embed works but the link is on live video.
