Meeting of New South-North Resource Flows Campaign Group

Debt and Development Colaition Ireland have decided to establish a new campaigning group that will meet once per month in the evening time in Dublin. The theme of the group will be 'Unjust South-North Resource Flows' so we will focus on planning campaigns against the unjust transfer of wealth from the South to the North.

Debt repayments are obviously one form of these unjust transfers of resources and we are in the midst of implementing a campaign to cancel illegitimate debts currently which will be an initial focus of this new campaign group.

We propose meeting in the Teacher's Club on Thursday 10th July at 7pm in order to set up the group. Joining the group will mean that you can meet other activists, access resources and training on the issues that DDCI works on, and get politically active in relation to them.
