Department of Homeland Security to use Shannon

Irish 'authorities' wont search planes but the yanks will.

As this farsical 'war on terror' is continnuing on un-abated, un-ckecked and almost unstoppable one would think, it never seems to run out of surprises to add to the farce. I use the word 'farce' because the war is a farce and not in any way to undermine the suffering of millions of Iraqi and Afghani citizens who have been murdered by 'The Coalition Of The Willing', or who have yet to be murdered in this 40 year war as predicted by disgraced Tony Blair. Or the thousands of actual human beings who have been, and continnue to be tortured, with the support of our Neutral Government.
As Irish authorities not only stand idly by and support this genocide by doing nothing and deliberately ignore calls from the public to inspect planes proven to be involved in illegal kidnapping and torture, it seems that the Irish authorities are now allowing an outside security detail to conduct searches of private planes on Irish soil for bombs heading the other way. To the States.

The American Department Of Homeland Security will be based at the airport. It is suspected by the American authorities that Shannon could be used as a gateway to get parts for a dirty bomb into the US to be assembled over there. Private jets will be the target as over 400 flights of private aircraft use Shannon each year to enter the US.
Ryan Eddy spokesman said...'The airport in Shannon is currently used by customs and border protection for pre clearance. So its basically adding on another capability to what there already doing.'

You think Cowen could give Bush 'assurances' that the airport is safe just like he gave Bertie 'assurances' that there were no WMD or torture victims, but he couldent because he wont investigate anything as it is.

As another even darker chapter in Irish history is about to unfold one would wonder as these unconcionsionable acts emerge, where are the leaders?, where are the voices of opposition in Irish politics?, where are those opposed to torture and illegal war now?.......have they ALL changed sides???
