This day-long workshop is designed for those considering travelling and/or volunteering in Latin America. As well as looking at practical opportunities for getting to Latin America, the session will also explore issues such as responsible tourism, motivations for volunteering, cultural appropriateness and the political climate in Latin America today.
WHEN: 10:00am to 3:00*pm, Saturday 21st June.
*The workshop will continue after 3pm in a cafe near the Irish Aid Centre to allow participants to exchange ideas and tips with people who have traveled and volunteered in Latin America.
