International Tax Justice Learning Day

Welcome along to a learning day on the issue of international tax justice.
The purpose of the meeting is to increase participants' awareness of the importance of tax justice for global development, and the role that Ireland plays in the international tax system.
The seminar will explore:
- Key tax justice concepts and how they link with ongoing global justice work on debt, aid and trade.
- The relevance of this debate to Ireland and Irish decision-makers and companies.
- Action being taken for tax justice in other countries which global justice campaigners in Ireland might learn from.
Leading tax justice analysts from around Europe will act as our resource people for the day including:

Francis Weyzig, Somo, Netherlands
Alex Cobham, Christian Aid UK
The meeting is organised by Christian Aid Ireland, Comhlámh, Debt and Development Coalition Ireland, Irish Congress of Trade Unions, Oxfam Ireland and Trócaire.
