Belfast Socialist Forum hosts public meeting on the health service.
Are you aware of the ongoing destruction of the Irish Health service as big business moves in to seize resources and fully privatise the system?
Are you aware or the extent to which privatisation and deregulation have sucked resources from the NHS to build private business?
Open your eyes!
Belfast Socialist Forum has called together two leading figures analysing the privatisation drive: Marie O’Connor is the author of “Emergency. Irish Hospitals in Chaos” and is an award-winning journalist, health analyst and longstanding activist
John Lister is the author of “The NHS after 60: For patients or profits?" He is visiting lecturer (health policy) at the School of Health & Social Sciences, Coventry University and Information Director/Editor of the activist group London Health Emergency.
Take the opportunity!
The two speakers will be at Belfast Unemployed centre at 7-30 on Thursday the 12th of June. There will be the opportunity to gain the benefit of years of research into the seizure of health service assets, to quiz the speakers and put in your own two pence and to discuss the possibility of actively fighting back.
Be there!
