Lisbon Treaty Debate in Limerick

Junior Minister and Fianna Fail TD Peter Power and Socialist Party representative Joe Higgins will go head-to-head in a public debate on the Lisbon Treaty this evening (Tuesday, 3 June) at 19.45 in the Hilton Hotel on the Ennis Road. The debate will also feature Fine Gael councillor, Diarmuid Scully, and Barry Finnagen of the Campaign Against the EU Constitution. With the date of the referendum nearing, and the polls showing a close run with a lot of undecideds this isand important important opportunity for the public to have to hear the arguments of both sides. Organised by the Socialist Party, it is open to all who wish to attend.
