Sport Against Racism Ireland (SARI) supports and promotes cultural integration and social inclusion through sport, music and art.
SARI is a not for profit organisation with Charitable Status that was set up in July 1997 as a direct response to the growth of racist attacks from a small but vocal section of people in Ireland.
The SARI sessions were set up to present cultural club nights that bring together people from different cultures and backgrounds and promote a positive attitude towards people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The Sessions are designed to promote artists from as many different cultures as possible including the traveller community and to encourage integration through music. The Sessions will bring us the feel of the new communities and their songs and stories.
Near 90 fm will be recording these Sessions and subsequently broadcasting them on 90.3fm.
