Details emergent regarding the arrests of IMC activists in Ecuador

Names of Four people, three men and a woman

Carlos Andrade.
Santiago Cadena.
Diana Cabascango
Francisco Jaramillo.

The Colombian Citizen whom was picked up by Interpol has not been named (as yet)

Ecuador IMC - Civil Society Organisation

Human Rights Watch has been notified.

The activists were picked up by a joint force of special police and by Interpol.
They have had their personal and shared belongings impounded this include
computers/books/hard-drives/files .

They were separated and interogated without access to family or lawyer.
They are mostly young activists.

Some of them are released.

There is as yet no name for the Colombian comrade who was also picked up
and kept separately.

They were setting up an Indymedia service in Ecuador.

Women's Indymedia are feeding through support material and backround for those
IMC activists in Ireland whom use the service. They ask for solidarity messages and
information spread.
